British Mineral Specimens
British mineral specimens have always been popular amongst collectors, with some dedicating entire collections to purely British samples. In recent years, British mining has decreased and many more site are becoming 'SSSI' (Sites of Special Scientific Interest) which has resulted in collecting in such areas being prohibited. This has essentially pushed up prices of mineral samples already in collections and has made the trading of British minerals as popular and as competitive as ever. In this section you will find a small selection of mineral specimens from old mining locations within the British Isles, these are 'one off' items and once sold will not be replaced.
