Ammonites

Ammonite fossil specimens are among the most recognisable fossils around the world. Their unique coiled shells make them identifiable by both children to professional geologists. As shells can vary, ammonoids are extremely useful as zoning fossils, a particular ammonite will be from a particular period in time. Ammonites can be sub divided into three groups due to their suture lines. We stock a great range of these fossils from all over the world, including the UK, Madagascar & Morocco.
