Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our web site, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "view basket" located on the top right corner of the page and you will be asked to "go to check out." Select this option and we will require a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Minimum Order
*Please Note! We are unable to accept orders under the value of £6.00 (excluding VAT and delivery) due to processing costs. Any orders placed under £6.00 will not be processed and your money will be refunded in full.
Shipping Charges
Small lightweight items are sent first class via Royal mail for next day delivery. However, this is not 100% guaranteed and may take between 1 – 4 days from being dispatched. Parcels between 1kg – 2.5kg are sent via ‘DHL’ post for next day delivery, and all items over 2.5kg are sent via 'DHL' Next Day courier service with whom we have a daily collection from. Sent goods will normally arrive next day. The maximum weight allowed by DHL is 30kg for £8.50. Should your order exceed this weight (30kg) you will have to pay an extra £8.50 for each parcel. You will also have to pay this, if your parcel exceeds size dimensions allowed by DHL and will have to be sent as two or more parcels. Items of High value such as certain compass clinometers or specialist equipment will be sent by Special delivery via Royal mail at a cost of £5.20, (can exceed this price if a large quantity is ordered). This is to cover insurance costs.
All courier (DHL) services and special delivery will have to be signed for as proof of delivery. Should you be out when a delivery is made, you will be carded and you will have to re-arrange a re-delivery via the telephone number on the card? To prevent delivery problems, many customers state a delivery address, which is different from an invoice address. (E.g. work or neighbour). You can do this when ordering your goods.
Back Orders
If the item you require is out of stock, you may contact us about our estimated dates of when we will next have the items in. If you order an item, which has not yet registered on the computer as ‘out of stock’, we will quickly get the stock in. Delays may occur. You may contact us at any time requesting the status of your order. You also reserve the right to cancel your order with us.
Tax & VAT
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, the standard rate of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) is applied. Currently 17.5%. If you live outside of the UK or EU, NO VAT will be applied to your purchase.

Sage Pay, one of the UK’s most trusted business brands dealing with credit card security, will process your payment details. All payment transactions are secure and fully encrypted to the highest global standards, ensuring your card details are always kept 100% safe and secure. Not even we can see them.
Guarantee
We strive to guarantee your total satisfaction, as a result. All of our products come with a 14-day no quibble guarantee. Items not wanted must not have been used in the field and must appear unscratched, undamaged etc and still be in packaging/placed back into packaging in a state that it can be resold.
Returns
If an item(s) has been damaged during transit or we have incorrectly supplied the wrong item(s) you must keep the items and accompanying documents as proof of your order and contact us immediately. (See our contact details) If you do not contact us within 14 days of delivery, we cannot guarantee a full replacement or refund will be available. When getting in contact with us please have your documents at hand so that you can quote us specific information such as order number and names, this makes our service to you quicker and we can hopefully resolve any problems. Please note that you should not return items directly to us. You must always get in contact with us first. We will then give you details on how to return items, and remember to always keep your accompanying paper documents as proof of purchase. If you yourself have ordered an incorrect item we will be happy to exchange it for the correct item you wished to purchase in the beginning, you will naturally have to pay the difference (if any) or we will refund the difference (if any) and you must send your item(s) back before we ship out a replacement. Please note however that we cannot replace equipment, which has been packaged in plastic sealed cases and opened. This includes compasses/clinometers, headlamps, tally counters etc. unless of-course the fault is on our side including us posting the incorrect item, or the item was damaged during transit.
