Aegasteroceras Saggitarium fossil ammonite specimen found at Scunthorpe, north Lincolnshire, UK. The samples has been prepped and cleaned, exposing bold ribbing and clear features, before being mounted onto a block of oolitic ironestone. The shell measures 8 cm in diamter, the total block, weighs 2.15 kg and measures 22 cm in length. An excellent pieces, suitable for display either for collectores, educational use and enthusiasts.

Aegasteroceras Saggitarium is an exctinct species of ammonite which lived during the lower lias of the Jurassic period, this specimen, which was found in Scunthorpe, north Lincolnshire, UK has been profesisonally prepped and cleaned before being mounted/cemented onto a block of oolitic ironstone. Over all, the fossil is excellent, the shell features bold, smooth polished ribbing and a clear coil, easily visible with the naked eye. It measures 8 cm in diameter, and the block it is mounted on measures 22 x 15 x 5 cm in sizes and weighs 2.15 kg. The base of the oolitic ironstone has been cut, making it flat allowing the blcok to stand freely on its own. An excellent display piece, it is ideal for a collector who wishes to display it or for enthusiasts looking for something a little different.
