Details
Bornite with quartz, feldspar and small amounts of biotite mica, malachite and chrysocolla found in Tysfjord, Northern Norway, these mineral specimens contain a variety of iridescent colours. Malachite is a green, common secondary copper mineral and is along side metallic blue bornite in these specimens, occurrences of biotite sheets or flecks may also be in some pieces. Overall, this combination results in a mixture of greens, blues, blacks and some quartz which is clear and white. A strange amalgamation of crystals resulting in an even stranger yet unique specimen, with plenty available, pieces are offered in various optional sizes and will come supplied in a card tray with an information label.
