Fish Vertebrae collected from the Eocene Bracklesham Beds in Lee on Solent, Hampshire. These fish vertebrae are in good condition; morphological features such as ridges and grooves can be seen and they have retained there over all shape making them easily identifiable as vertebrae bones. The Bracklesham beds in which these vertebrae were found are well known among paleontologists and fossil collectors in Britain; they have yielded over 160 different species of fish and the beds continue to be productive today despite having been pillaged by collectors for over 100 years. The vertebrae bones measure approximately 10 mm in diameter and are supplied in small plastic bags with an information label.
