Specimens of fluorite and galena from Masson Opencast, Matlock, Derbyshire, UK. Both are two common minerals which are often found together and form as mineral veins in other rocks as well as in each other. Galena is extremely dense and also fractures extremely easily. These samples feature occurrences of fluorite and of blue galena veins with a metallic lustre. These pieces would make a wonderful addition to any British mineral collection. They are supplied in a white card tray with an information label.
