Description

Details

Trace fossils of tube worms, cycloserpula intestinalis. These were found in the Lower Kimmeridgian clay of Fleet Shore, Small Mouth, Meymouth, Dorset. These burros are from the Jurassic period, during the reign of the dinosaurs. As trace fossils, these are slightly different to regular fossils, and will add a new dimension to any collection and give a perspective on the living habits of micro fauna, which are often forgotten about and provide the base for any food chain during the Jurassic. Each specimen measures approximately 10 cm in length and comes supplied with a card tray and information label.
