Natural geode fragments lined with sparkling sugary quartz crystals, collected from phosphate deposits in the Sahara Desert of Morocco. These specimens started life as a round cavities within sedimentary formations. As the sediments around the cavity lithified, dissolved minerals in groundwater allowed for the precipitation of quartz within the empty cavity. Later the nodules were broken revealing the stunning white quartz inside. Each specimen is supplied in a protective gem plastic box which measures approximately 4 x 3 x 3 cm in dimension.
