Glyphithyris is a species of crab from the Lower Eocene epoch. This particular specimen was found within the London Clay Formation at the Isle of Sheppey, Kent. Lower Eocene fossils such as Glyphithyris found within the London Clay are said to indicate a relatively warm climate where tropical and subtropical flora flourished. This fossil is suitable for serious fossil collectors keen to add to their collection. The specimen is 1.5 cm in length and is supplied in a small plastic bag with an information label.
