Lepidolite mineral specimens from San Diego, California. Lepidolite belongs to the mica group of minerals, known for their sheet like flakey crystals. This lepidolite however is in massive form meaning the material is crystalline although no clear crystal structure is visible. The specimens are a beautiful lilac colour and would make an attractive addition to any collection. The minerals stand proudly, mounted (attached with glue) on a polystyrene base within a 1.5" x 1.5" card tray, information label attached. These specimens would be suited for geologists, collectors or simply those interested in mineralogy looking for an attractive display piece.
