The carbonised remains of a Palaeonscid Fish found within the coal measures of Newsham County, Durham, UK. These fish first appeared during the Silurian and died out in the Cretaceous. This particular specimen is of Upper Carboniferous age and is 4 x 4 cm in dimension. Supplied within a small plastic bag with an information label attached.
