Pliosaur and Plesiosaur bone fossils found in the Kimmeridgian clay beds at Abingdon, Oxfordshire, UK. Pliosaurs were carnivorous marine reptiles which predominantly lived during the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and can mostly be described best as crocodiles with flippers. Adept swimmers, they were apex predators of their environment. Plesiosaurs were marine reptiles which predominantly lived during the Jurassic period. Characteristically defined by their long necks and flippers. There are a variety of bones available here, from limb bones to vertebra, and are more suited to novice palaeontologist, as opposed to collectors and analysts.Products are sold by size only, so there is no guarantee you will receive a particular species' fossil.
