Poleumita discors are an extinct species of gastropod which had coiled like shells, they were marine dwelling animals which existed 443 million years ago in the Silurian period. They were medium sized sea snails with shells measuring around 45 mm in size with ribbing on the coils. These particular specimens were collected many years ago from the famous Wren's Nest locality in Dudley, West Midlands, UK and come supplied in a card tray with an information label.
