Prionopeltis archiaci trilobite fossil of Ludlow age, Silurian. This specimen was collected in Kosov, Czechoslovakia. Only the glabella and part of the cephalon is preserved in this example; unfortunately the eyes, thorax and pygidium were not preserved but because European fossils can be hard to come by, this specimen could be a great addition for any serious collector. The fossil is held within a mudstone matrix and its dimensions are 3.5 cm in width and 2.5 cm in length. This specimen was previously part of an old educational collection so may show traces of glue and paper. Supplied within a small plastic bag with an information label.
