A display piece of rhodochrosite, black calcite, chalcopyrite, arsenopyrite and pyrrhotite from Trepca mine in Stan Terg, Mitovica, Kosovo. This sample features the mineral rhodochrosite coated with black calcite and containing chalcopyrite, arseonopyrite and pyrrhotite. The mineral also contains minute inclusions of quartz crystals. This specimen showcases cubes of arsenopyrite alongside pyyrhotite blades and chalcopyrite in a oval ring area on the underside of the piece. The piece weighs roughly 659 grams and measures approximately 13.5 x 8 x 5 cm, it is supplied in a 5" x 3.5" white card tray with an information label. This example would make an excellent addition to any serious mineral collection due to its fantastic display of different mineral habits and its source location which is difficult to access.
