Fossil specimens of the bivalve Corbula carinata from Leognan, France, dated to the Miocene epoch. Corbula are a genus of very small bivalve which belong to the clam family. These samples measure approximately 1.5 cm in length, 1 cm in diameter and weigh roughly 1 gram. Specimens are supplied in a polythene bag with an information label, specimens are available as single valves or with both valves intact. A great addition to any fossil collection.
