Details
Greisen are a form of granitic rock or pegmatites which have been highly altered, it is formed by autogenic alteration of a granite and is a considered an endoskarn. The appearance of greisen is partly coarse, crystalline granite & partly and can include miarolitic cavities, disseminated halide minerals such as fluorite, and occasionally metallic oxide or sulfide ore minerals. These samples of Greisen appear mostly yellow in colour and come from Cumbria, UK. Specimens are supplied in a polythene bag in lots of 1 kg with a label. - Reviews
