DetailsStraparollus sp. gastropod mollusc collected from carboniferous shales in Blairskaith, Scotland. Straparollus is an extinct genus of gastropod mollusc; they lived during Silurian through to Permian periods and have a discoidal or planispiral shaped shells. These specimens measure approximately 1 cm in diameter. They are a particularly rare find so would make a welcome addition to any collection. Each specimen is supplied in a small plastic bag with an information label.
