Theodossia hungerfordi were a species of brachiopod which lived during the Devonian period, these fossil specimens were found in the Lime Creek formation which is located in Rockford, Iowa, USA and are believed to be between 419 – 358 million years old. This species is known for the deep groove which runs down the center of its shell as well as the hook shape above it's hinge. Specimens vary in size between 1 to 2 cm and come supplied in a packet with an information label.
