Tudicula rusticula gastropod mollusc collected from Miocene sediments in Leognan, France. These gastropods have a unique appearance; they have a fusiform shell i.e. the shell is spindle shaped, it has a broad body whorl which tapers down into a long and narrow siphonal canal. Nodes protrude from the shell and growth lines can be distinguished. These specimens are in relatively good condition; some are fragmented in areas but this is a common occurrence in these more delicate gastropods. These gastropods measure between 5 and 6 cm in length and are supplied in small plastic bags with an information label.
