Gold Prospecting

Gold prospecting & panning is the removal of gold, usually small gold particles from the base of a small river or stream known as placer deposits. This process of gold prospecting has been around since ancient roman times. It is a manual process where you essentially partially fill the pan with stream bed sediment and ‘shake’ the pan. With the gold being a denser mineral, the rest of the material & water is removed from the pan while trussels which line the pans sides filter out the gold particles. In this section you will find our stock of various gold pans and other useful equipment to help in gold prospecting.
