The card is printed onto translucent plastic for easy reading and comparing against grain size and texture in the field. The card includes a sorting chart, roundness scale and percentage by area images and is 149mm x 72mm, made from plastic it is completely waterproof and tear resistant.
A large, lab based sieve shaker ideal for use on only 200mm diameter sieves. The shaker includes a control panel, with an installed digital timer, allowing users to set the desired sieving time between 0 sec and 99 mins 59 secs. Will take up to 8 x 200mm dia sieves, has a screw down support at the top to keep the sieves in place while shaking and a large, robust body. For more information, please see below.

A long, full covering PVC apron ideal for heavy duty work such as sawing, cutting, GRP work and more. The apron includes neck and back ties to help secure it to the wearer and will keep your entire body down to the shins covered.

nThese particular aprons are perfect for use on drilling, mining & quarry sites where rock core cutting is often carried out. The apron will protect against small fragments, chemicals and dirty water often used in wet cutting.

The sieve uses a high quality nylon mesh placed in a black plastic moulded tray. It comes as a set of 6 sieves each with Mesh sizes: 2, 1, 0.5, 0.25, 0.125 and 0.063 mm. The set comes with a lid and a base unite. For more information please see below.
A triplet hand lens with ultraviolet (UV) capabilities, this magnifier boasts triplet optics (3 pieces of glass) to enhance the viewing quality along with excellent x 10 magnification and a generous 21 mm field of view. The loupe has a body made of stainless steel and a plastic housing, on which there is a ringe LED UV light but also a ring of white LED lights too (for viewing in low light conditions). The ultraviolet light is extremely useful for both geologists, gemologists and entomologists, as minerals, gemstones or insects which fluoresce will be visible under the light and fluoresce their respective colours, aiding in identification or location. The lens uses three LR297 button batteries, which are provided and comes in with a faux leather case and a small gift box.
