A display specimen of Aegasteroceras Saggitarium found in Scunthorpe, N Lincolnshire, UK. The specimen is from the Jurassic period, Lower Lias and is cemented onto a matrix of ironstone. The specimen is a freestanding display piece and measures approximately 20 x 12 x 9 cm. The specimen weighs approximately 3.35 kg and the fossil itself measures approximately 7 cm in diameter. The specimen has various smaller fossils embedded within its matrix.
