Apatite mineral specimens exhibiting a vibrant, electric blue colour, pieces are crystalline in texture and rough with minute amounts of secondary minerals included, these high grade specimens are only available in limited small sized pieces. Apatite is actually the name given to a group of minerals which include hydroxylapatite, fluorapatite and chlorapatite. These particular samples, known simply as blue apatite come from Madagascar, it is a phosphate mineral that has a vitreous lustre, shining slightly when viewed under certain angles of light and gives a white streak, the primary use is in the manufacture of fertilizer due to it being a source of phosphorus, generally it can come in a wide variety of colours and crystal habits, however, these samples are blue in colour with a massive crystalline habit, suitable for collectors, educational use and the like. Specimens will come supplied in a card tray or magnifier box (depending on your chosen option) and come with a small label.

Apatite crystals found in Morocco with a green hue and a semi transparent appearance. These crystals very from 0.5 – 1.5cm and come supplied in a pack of 5 pieces. Specimens are supplied in a small polythene bag with a information label. Apatite is a phosphate mineral that has a vitreous lustre and a white streak but do not show good terminations. Its primary use is in the manufacture of fertiliser due it being a source of phosphorus. Apatite comes in a wide variety of colours and crystal habits, these samples are green in colour with a prismatic crystal habit. Supplied in a polythene bag with an information label.
Specimens of Chlorapatite with Phlogopite mica and Enstatite changed to Steatite (talc), found in Ødegärden Mines, Bamble,
Southern Norway. Available in a range of sizes.

Calcite rhomb mineral specimens exhibiting excellent rhomic crystal form expected of calcite, the pieces come from Morocco and as expected, will fizz, bubble and release CO2 if the hydrochloric acid test is performed. They are available in 2 colours and will be supplied in a card tray with an information label.
Cut ulexite mineral specimens from California, USA. A mineral similar to gypsum, ulexite is able to transmit light through its long axis, meaning if placed above an image or text, will transmit it to the samples surface as an image. Hence the name TV rock, excellent for children, these pieces are available in several sizes and will come supplied in a card tray with an information label.
Specular Hematite, also known as specularite is a variation of haematite which has a silver or black colouration and metallic lustre which gives the crystals a sparkling appearance. These particular specimens are of specularite crystals with an anhedral form on a massive haematite matrix. These specimens display veins of specularite within a matrix of massive haematite. They come from Cumbria, UK and are available in various sizes, each sample comes supplied in a card tray with an information label. They would be of particular interest to those who are particular keen on collecting British mineral specimens.
Dolomite crystal beds, pink in colour form Morocco, the presence of manganese results in a pale pink hue, these mineral specimens also have larger crystals than the UK material and are higher quality. Available in various optional sizes, supplied in tray with a data label.

Native copper ore mineral specimens from the famous Keweenaw copper deposits of Mitchigan, U.S.A. The specimens have a heavy red-orange metallic specimens with streaks of blue-green oxidation and a wiry crystal habit. Available in a range of sizes.
Iceland spar is a clear variation of calcite, it exhibits the rhombic crystal system of calcite perfectly, the crystals easily divide into rhombs, making them well sought after for a variety of reasons. Originally reported from Helgustadir Mine, Eskifjord, Iceland, hence its name. One of the most remarkable aspect of Iceland spar is its refractive properties. When light passes through one of the crystals, it is divided into two rays at different angles which results in a double refraction effect. Essentially, anything seen though the crystal is seen in double. This can best be seen if you place the calcite over some text, it will appear as if it has been printed twice. These mineral samples come from Santa Eulalia, Chihuahua, Mexico and are available in 2 sizes: Upto 1″ and Over 1″. They come in a card tray with an information label.
Specimens of Salt Pseudomorphs on a limy matrix, collected from the Triassic Aust Cliff in Avon, UK. Salt Pseudomorphs serve as important inicators of paleoenvironmental conditions. They typically form in semi arid (dry) climates, where saline water evaporates, which leaves behind cubic salt crystals. These salt crystals later dissolve, occasionally preserving their cubic imprints These specimens are available in multiple sizes and come supplied in a white card tray with an information label.

Milky quartz mineral specimens from Norway, with a pale white colouration, hence the name, sometimes also known as white quartz, snow quartz or simply quartz. These particular samples were collected by staff from Iveland, Norway. This locality is also where we collected the smokey quartz from. It is in a massive form and has a very fine crystalline texture, this also results in it sometimes being sharp, so caution is advised when handling these samples. It is available in various sizes and supplied in a card tray with an information label.
Sulphur mineral specimens (also spelt sulfur) from Bolivia, these fine crystalline masses give off a pungent odour as expected of this mineral and have a pale yellow colouration to them. They formed in volcanic zones and are excellent for the more serious collector. Available in one size only and supplied in a card tray with a data label.

Specimens of white coloured Plagioclase Feldspar also known as a Albite-Anorthite Series mineral. The specimens come from Osedalen, Southern Norway and are supplied in a 2″x2″ 3″x2″ 4″x3″ card tray with an information label.
Rhodolite garnets in quartz and mica schist matrix from Southern Norway exhibiting bright vibrant pink coloured garnets in a white quartz and metallic grey mica schist with a start contrast of colours, these minerals specimens are available in 3 sizes and come supplied in a card tray with a label.
Desert rose mineral specimens composed from gypsum found in Tunisia, the samples are composed of numerous crystals which resemble ‘petals’ which are randomly orientated, thus giving them a rose flower effect. Specimens are supplied in a 1.5″ x 1.5″ card tray or as approximately 1 cm diameter pieces in 1″ magnifier boxes with an information label.
Baryte mineral specimens collected form Somerset in the UK, exhibiting a bladed crystal habit or massive form, the dense specimens are an off white, yellow or brown colour due to staining from hematite (iron ore), available in various sizes, ideal for educational use.
