Specimens of citrine with baryte inclusions found in Oughoud, Morocco. Most citrine is created by heat-treating amethyst or smoky quartz from certain locations. However some citrine is formed after amethyst deposits are heated by natural processes. These particular specimens are naturally formed, easily identifiable due to the fact that they orange colouration is faded and not as vibrant as industrially heated specimens, are semi transparent and exhibit some inclusions. However, these samples also show occurrences of baryte in massive and crystalline form, adding to the density of the samples. Available in various sizes and supplied in a card tray with an information label.
