Cybium stormsi tooth collected from the Eocene Bracklesham Beds in Lee on Solent, Hampshire. Cybium is a genus of the Mackerel family of fish. The Bracklesham beds in which these teeth were found are well known among paleontologists and fossil collectors in Britain; they have yielded over 160 different species of fish and the beds continue to be productive today despite having been pillaged by collectors for over 100 years. These teeth measure between 7 – 10 mm and are in good condition. They are supplied individually in small plastic bags with an information label.
