Promicroceras planicosta amomnite fossils which exhibit excellent morphological features, deep ribbing, evolute shells with open umbilicus, these samples are from the Jurassic period and were collected from Charmouth in Dorset, UK, 25 mm in size they are suitable for collectors, their shells have become agatised during the fossilisation process and so exhibit a pearly lustre and are still set within a limestone matrix. Supplied in a card tray with a label.

Grammoceras is an extinct genus of Ammonite, which existed during the Jurassic period. Distinct due to their disc-like curved shell and distinct, thin ridges. These ammonite specimens are very well preserved, making them a perfect tool for analysis,while also providing the quality to become a display piece in fossil collections, particularly those geared towards UK marine fossils. These particular specimens are of an unknown species and were found in Illminster, Somerset, UK. They range from 1″ – 2″ and come provided with a white card tray and information label.

Cut and polished ammonite pairs, collected from Madagascar. Ammonites are one of the most distinctive and popular fossils in the world due to their distinctive spiral shell. These specimens are examples of their shells that have been cut and polished in order to show their inner workings. These specimens include both Desmoceras and Cleoniceras which both lived during the Lower Cretaceous period, approximately 110 – 102 million years ago. Each section measures approximately 3cm and come packaged as a pair in a polythene bag with information label.
Perisphinctes are an extinct species of ammonite which lived during the lower Jurassic period, 163 to 145 million years ago. The animal could grown from anywhere between 10 mm to over a meter in diameter, making them among the largest of the ammonites. Their shells exhibit excellent morphological features such as clear, distinct ribbing and occasionally, well defined ammonitic suture lines, among the near perfect coil shape, it could be said that perisphinctes are the text book ammonite. These specimens are 1.5″ – 2″ in size and come supplied in a white card tray with information label.

Cleoniceras is an extinct species of ammonite, dating to the lower Cretaceous period, over 102 million years ago. They are approximately 25 mm in diameter and also show iridescence on the shells surface. Suitable for older children, collectors, gifts and educational use, the sample will come supplied in a polythene bag with a label.
