These pieces are broken fragments found in the United States of America and as such, the specific species of which they once belonged to is difficult to determine. However, they are still excellent samples, measuring around 5 cm in size (2 inches) they are a chalky white or earthy red colour (or sometimes a mix of both) and show the rough, natural texture of the bone, as they are untreated. Some of the fragments may even show a cross section of the bone, exhibiting the internal hollow like structure. Ideal for young collectors or school use, they samples will come supplied in a cards tray with an information label.
