They belong to an unknown genus and species, but are aged at 157-152 M.a. during the Kimmeridgian stage of the late Jurassic period. They may well belong to a species of sauropod such as Gigantosaurus or Ichyrosaurus. These specimens are rough and genuinely textured, giving a realistic insight into the makeup of the skeletons of these iconic reptiles.
