Emerald crystals, rough, found in Brazil. Emerald is a green gem variation of beryl and is a highly valued precious gemstone. Its beautiful green colour is caused by slight traces of chromophore such as chromium and sometimes vanadium. Specimens are approximately 0.5 – 1.5 cm in size and are supplied in a small polythene bag.

Emerald specimens which are rough and not polished or tumbled from Brazil, emerald is a variation of the mineral, beryl but due to high levels of chromium being present is chemically different, and is where the mineral specimens get their green colouration from. These crystals are supplied as single and measure between 0.5 to 1.5 cm in length, vibrantly green and ideal as a gift the crystal will come supplied in a small pouch with an information label.
