1 kilogram of aragonite crystal beds, or groups from Morocco, these mineral specimens exhibit an off white colouration and botryoidal crystal forms and sometimes stalactitic. A form of calcium carbonate, this product is sold by weight, pieces will vary in size between 20 mm to 60 mm and come supplied in polythene bag with a label.
Specimens of Talc, collected from Egypt. Talc is a common clay mineral that is easily identifiable due to its greasy texture. Talc is extremely soft, with a hardness of just 1 on Mohs scale and is also the primary component in talcum powder. These specimens are pale green in colour. They come in a heavy duty polythene bag with pieces of various sizes.
1 kilo of moss agate mineral specimens from India. Agate is a distinctly banded variety of chalcedony, belonging to the quartz family. These particular specimens are a dark green colour, hence the name ‘moss agate’ but sometimes may exhibit red spots, known as blood stone. It is clear with a pearly luster which is seen on the cleavage faces, and is the main mineral which often gives rocks a ‘sparkly’ look. Specimens of Blue Calcite, collected from Mexico. Blue calcite is a variation of the mineral calcite. The distinct colouration of these specimens is due to the prescence of oxidised copper impurities. These specimens come in a heavy duty polythene bag with pieces of various sizes.

250 grams of aragonite sputniks, also known as twinned aragonite crystals, these mineral specimens are roughly 20 mmto 40 mm in size, they exhibit an orange colouration and numerous radiating crystals similar to the Russian satellite, ‘Sputnik’. They come from Morocco are supplied in a polythene bag with a data label, purchasing them by weight is ideal if they are intended for educational use, talks, kits or other events where larger quantities are required for an economical cost.
Calcite rhombs, excellent mineral specimens supplied by 1 kilogram weight, the samples show a cubic cleavage as expected and vary in colour between white, grey and brown. A very soft mineral, calcite scratches easily and reacts with weak acid by fizzing. It will be supplied in a polythene bag along with an information card.
