Fish vertebrae collected from the Miocene Bone Valley Formation in Polk County, Florida, USA. Overall, these fish vertebrae are in good condition, morphological features such as ridges and grooves can be seen and they have retained there over all shape making them easily identifiable as vertebrae bones. They are available in two sizes: Small measure approximately 10 mm in length and large 20 to 30 mm in length. They come supplied in a polythene bag with an information label. The bone valley formation in which the vertebrae were found is a shallow marine deposit situated in Florida USA, it is very popular among geologists, not only for the fossils which it yields but also its economical phosphorite deposits.
