Fish vertebrae fossils from the Eocene period, making them between 56 to 33 million years old. These fossil specimens are mixed and varied coming from numerous different species of fish, however, it is possible that they belong to common sharks at the time such as enchodus or otodus. They were collected from the popular phosphate deposits near Khouribga, Morocco where numerous other fossils have been found. Overall, these fish vertebrae are in quite good condition, morphological features such as ridges and grooves can be seen on them and they have retained there over all shape making them easily identifiable as vertebrae bones. Pieces measure between 10 to 20 mm in size and come supplied in a polythene bag with an information card.
