Fossulaster halli echinoid fossil collected from the Gambier Limestone of Mount Gambier, Southern Australia. These Echinoids lived within a shallow open marine shelf environment which submerged Southern Australia during the Miocene epoch approximately 5 – 23 Mya. These echinoids are approximately 8 mm in diameter but naturally this may vary slightly. Much of the morphological detail of these specimens has been lost, though they will certainly be of interest to the more serious fossil collector, especially those whom may be building a collection of various echinoid species. Each specimen is supplied individually within a small plastic bag with an information label.
