A fibreglass shafted geological hammer manufactured in Britain under the Visa brand by Gibson House tools. The head has a standard flat face for breaking and crushing rock while the opposite end has a pointed tip making it suitable for the extraction of minerals, fossils or other items from matrix or other delicate work such as archaeology. The head is made from hardened steel while the handle is fibreglass which does a good job of shock absorption, a must have if you intend to go and break rock samples in the field.
