Halite mineral specimens supplied in lots of 500 grams, excellent quality samples mined from Bouldy mine, Redcar in Yorkshire, UK, the pieces are clear to orange and transluscent, some may show cubic crystal cleavage too as well as inclusions of clay. Supplied in a grip seal pack of 500 grams along with an information card.
Halite in rough samples which come form the Boulby mine, Redcar, North Yorkshire, UK supplied by weight. Halite is a variation of salt, the crystals typically show a cubic crystal form and in some cases this can be seen on our specimens. The colouration of halite is translucent with tinges of orange, yellow and brown. These samples come in lots of 1kg, sizes of the sample will vary between 20 mm to 50 mm and will be supplied in a grip seal polythene bag with an information label.
