Lingulella davisii is an extinct species of brachiopod, which existed during the middle Cambrian. Unique for their phosphatic shell, these brachiapods are well known for their abundance in the Burgess Shales in Canada – one of the best preserved Cambrian death assemblages in the world. These particular specimens come from Wales and although provided in 3 sizes, this only refers to the greater matrix – the brachiapods within are all similarly sized and of similar quality.
