Coprolites are fossilised feces, they are classified as trace fossils because they only provide us with evidence of previous animal activity and existence. Although rarely can a producer of the coprolite be identified from the coprolite alone; they still tell palaeontologists important information regarding the diet of the animal. Naturally these coprolites vary in size between 1 and 5 cm, they are sold as small 1 cm, medium 2.5 cm and large + 2.5 cm. Each individual coprolite is supplied in a small plastic bag with an information label.
