Ludwigia murchisonae fossil ammonites, excellent specimens which have been well preserved, allowing morphological details to be clearly seen even with the naked eye, such as shell ribbing and a strong ridge around the dorsal area of their shells. These ammonites lived during the Jurassic period, making them between 174 to 170 million years old. They can be found in Jurassic strata in France, Germany, Spain, the UK and Hungary, these particular specimens come from the Isle of Skye, Scotland and are excellent pieces for collecting, educational use or gifts. Available as single pieces or in a matrix, each fossil will come supplied in a card tray with an information label.
