In this case, the Milwaukee demolition gloves are excellent for personal safety for geologists or earth scientist when undertaking field work or work on site, such as a drilling rig, anywhere, where the need to handle rough rock or mineral aggregate is required. These gloves are made with Armortex® reinforced palms and fingertips for increased durability and hand protection. TPR (themo-plastic rubber) pads provide extra knuckle protection. This makes the demoltion gloves an excellent alternative to the well known leather rigger gloves used on so many sites, while also offering much more dexterity in ones fingers. As times have moved on, touch screen technology is becoming more common place in the field and on site now days, as such, these gloves also have a SMARTSWIPE™ Knuckle, this allows the use of touch screen devices without removing gloves or using dirty fingertips. Overall, these gloves are well worth their salt, they come with a breathable tri-cot lining which provides ultimate comfort and breathability as well as a terry cloth thumb, built-in sweat/brow wipe for comfort. With hook & loop closure for a secure fit. they conform to CE Category 2, EN 420 and EN 388 – 2221.

Plastic plate stands, also used for displaying mineral slice specimens such as Agate. The stands fold out and become free standing with a sturdy base. The width of the stand is also adjustable due to the small clip which connects the two spreading legs together.
Plastic plate stands which are ideal for holding mainly flat items, such as plates, agate slices and other cut and polished mineral slabs. However, other items fit on them just as well, the parts come in two pieces and twist together making a single, robust clear stand. These stands are small and measure 50 mm tall with a 70 x 40 mm base.

This red coloured Marl is a lime (Calcium Carbonate) rich mudstone from the Triassic of Gloucestershire. They are supplied in labelled card trays.
