Natural copper mineral specimens collected from the Keweenaw copper deposits of Michigan, USA; one of the most famous sites in the world for native copper ore. Copper is one of the only metallic elements which forms uncombined as a natural mineral i.e. it is native. Our specimens have the classic dendritic, wiry or filiform characteristic of native copper and are supplied in a large ( 4 cm x 4 cm ) magnification box to enhance the viewing sample. An interesting addition to any collection both for educational and display purposes, excellent for children ( +7 ) or as gift for mineral enthusiasts and those interested in geology.
