Oligoclase is a high sodium member of the plagioclase feldspar group commonly found alongside orthoclase feldspar, they are often present in granitic, syenite or dioritic pluntonic environments. These particular examples have a peach-red to white colouration with some pieces displaying the schiller effect. Samples may also contain small amounts of biotite mica and quartz. Specimens are available in multiple sizes and come supplied in a card tray with an information label.
