Phylloceras semisulcatum ammonite fossil collected from the Cretaceous, Valanginian rocks of Drone, France which date back to approximately 133 to 139 Mya. Phylloceras is an extinct genus of ammonite which exploited early Jurassic through to Late Cretaceous seas. Typically they have smooth and involute shells, meaning the early whorls are not visible. These particular specimens range from 1 to 2 cm in diameter and are supplied in small plastic bags with an information label.
