Dolomite (Pink) – Kilo Bag

1 kilogram of chalcedony fragments from lined geodes, collected from Morroco, these mineral specimens exhibit a botryoidal crystal form and a faded blue or white colour.The sizes of the samples vary between 20 mm to 60 mm and come supplied in a polythene bag by weight, ideal where larger quantities may be required for a low cost such as for schools, talks, kits or more.

Calcite rhombs, excellent mineral specimens supplied by 1 kilogram weight, the samples show a cubic cleavage as expected and vary in colour between white, grey and brown. A very soft mineral, calcite scratches easily and reacts with weak acid by fizzing. It will be supplied in a polythene bag along with an information card.

Halite mineral specimens supplied in bags of 1kg. Excellent quality samples mined from Bouldy mine, Redcar in Yorkshire, UK, the pieces are clear to orange and transluscent, some may show cubic crystal cleavage too as well as inclusions of clay. These samples are available by weight, ideal if you require a large amount for a more cost effective prices, the pieces vary between 20 to 100 mm in size and will come seal in a polythene bag with a small information card.

Oragne gypsum, particularly, the variety, satin spar, due to it’s fibrous needle like crystals, available by weight in lots of 1 kilogram bags, supplied in a polythene bag with a label, the gypsum exhibits an orange hue due to the presence of hematite.
