Specimens of Prehnite from Loanhead Quarry, Beith, North Aryshire, Scotland. Prehnite is a well known mineral used as a gemstone, it has a green colouration which can range from striking and vibrant to calm and pale. It is often found with associated zeolite groups of minerals including stilbite, apophyllite and more. It is an alumosilicates and is often found in stalactitic or botryoidal crystal forms. These specimens show a pale green to waxy yellow colour and have formed in a basalt matrix, some samples may also show small inclusions of chrysocolla. Samples come supplied in a white card tray with an information label, these pieces are a must have for collectors of British minerals.

Prehnite mineral specimens from Pune (Puna), India, pale green and trnasluscent in colour, these mineral specimens belong to the zeolite family, which also includes minerals such as stilbite and apophyllite. They have a botryoidal crystal form, each sample will come supplied in card tray with a data label.
