Pseudogygites latimarginatus is a quite rare trilobite specimen available, it is from the Champlainian epoch, which occurred during the middle of the Ordovician period, dating it to between 488 to 443 million years old. It comes from the famous Utica formation, which is located in Bowmanville, Ontario, Canada. the Trilobite its self is from the asaphida order, which generally have similar size and shaped heads and tails, with the heads often being described as ‘snow ploughs’. This specimen has been professionally prepped, the trilobite its self measures 45 mm in length and 30 mm width. It is on a shale matrix 110 x 90 mm and is almost 10 mm thick so that the whole pieces isn’t too fragile to handle. An exceptionally rare specimen showing excellent detail and of superb quality, this fossil is ideal for serious collectors.
