Quartz crystals collected from Buxton in Derbyshire, UK. Originally Buxton quartz was locally referred to as Buxton or Derbyshire diamond and it appeared relatively abundant in early publishing’s. These days however the Buxton variety of quartz is very rare with only a few specimens surviving in museums. This variety of quartz mineral is highly sought after due to its rarity but crystals can be highly attractive in their own right. We supply 1.5″ x 1.5″ and 2″ x 2″ specimens, each in a card tray with an information label.
