Quartz crystal points, small in size which are A grade quality, the crystals show excellent termination of a quartz crystal as expected and are crystal clear as they are of high quality. These specimens are ideally suited for higher educational use where multiple specimens may be required for a class to observe or for collectors who are after excellent specimens to add to their collection. They are small approximately 3 to 5 cm in length. Quartz is one of the most common minerals found on the surface of earth, a silica mineral and is found as a common constituent in many rocks. It has many other variations depending on chemistry of colour such as amethyst, citrine, jasper, agate and more. These particular crystals come from Madagascar and come supplied in a polythene bag with an information label. Available by weight in 100g or 1kg bags.

Stunning red quartz Hematoide over a calcite matrix collected from Jebel Saghro in Morocco. This unique variety of quartz owes its red colour to very fine hematite inclusions which have become incorporated into the quartz mass.
