Rimella Rimosa gastropod collected from the Eocene Barton Beds of Barton, Hampshire. Rimella is a genus of fossil marine gastropod. Intricate detail has been preserved in these specimens, they have little to no wear; some specimens show borings. These molluscs were laid down in a warm, shallow inland sea during the Upper Eocene Epoch. They measure approximately 1.5 to 2 cm in length and are supplied in small plastic bags with an information label.
